GREAT NEWS!
Rocky is an adorable big puppy-dog Standardbred we pulled from a kill lot last year. He is a 14-year-old bay gelding needing a forever person!

He is sound for gentle, laid-back riding and would make a great trail horse for someone looking to do light riding!!

Hello AGES friends, followers and angels!! We could use your help if you are able! One of our recent adopteds, Rocky - came up sore and lame a week or so ago. He was x-rayed and ultrasounded by their vet. Although the incident had no causal explanation - the images exposed a very likely old pelvic fracture. AGES and the adopters are heartbroken, and their vet advised Euthanasia.

Upon sharing those records with 3 of our vets, and knowing we don't give up easily - Rocky will be traveling to Wisconsin Equine Clinic in Oconomowoc next Monday for a comprehensive evaluation with state-of-the-art imaging. The end solution may end up the same....but if there is a chance surgery could still help this sweet loving boy.......we want to do everything we can to still give him a life!

Rocky was sound the entire time here when Roberto was working with him … never any indication that something was "off.” That's the kind of warrior he is!!

We can only estimate (if there is surgery) an invoice in the area of $4,000 - $5,000? Any amount you could help us with would get us a step closer to helping this gelding have a future!!
